Positive Behavior Support at César E. Chávez

At César E. Chávez School, we use Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to promote a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment for all students. PBIS helps teach and reinforce expected behaviors so students can succeed academically and socially.

Students are recognized for demonstrating our school expectations—such as respect, responsibility, and safety—through positive reinforcement and celebrations. Families play an important role in supporting these expectations at home, and we appreciate your partnership.
